Off The Clock

 OFF THE CLOCK

I LIKE TO MAKE THINGS, LEARN THINGS, MOVE AND OCCASIONALLY GET MYSELF INTO QUESTIONABLE OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES.

FIRST, I WAS A DANCER.

Dance taught me discipline, repetition, physical awareness and how much work goes into making something look effortless.

MOM'S ASSISTANT

My mother was a costume designer who built her own business while raising three children as a single mom.

Growing up around that shaped how I think about work — creative, independent, resourceful and hands-on.

THE PIZZERIA YEARS

I managed a pizzeria through high school and my first years of college.

It taught me:

Customer service.

People management.

Working under pressure.

Showing up.

Getting the job done.
