ABOUT SARAH
CURIOUS BY NATURE.
BUSINESS-MINDED BY INSTINCT.
ALWAYS LEARNING.
I'm interested in how businesses work: how products find their customers, how brands establish their place in the market, and how decisions across a business contribute to its performance.
My experience spans merchandising, buying, brand management, and entrepreneurship. I've worked across product categories and functions, collaborated with teams and vendors, and explored what it takes to build a business independently.
What connects these experiences is my interest in seeing the bigger picture while understanding the details that shape it.
I'm drawn to work that combines commercial thinking, curiosity, and practical problem-solving. I like asking questions, examining different perspectives, and understanding why something works—or where there may be an opportunity to do it better.
Based in Brooklyn, New York, I'm interested in opportunities that bring together business, merchandising, consumer understanding, and analytical thinking.
AREAS OF INTEREST
Business & Commercial Strategy: Understanding how different functions contribute to business performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Merchandising & Product: Connecting product assortment, customer demand, vendor relationships, and commercial objectives.
Analytics & Decision-Making: Using data, research, and critical thinking to identify patterns, evaluate performance, and inform decisions.
Consumer & Market Understanding: Exploring customer needs, market dynamics, competitive positioning, and the factors that influence purchasing decisions.
Brand & Creative: Understanding how positioning, presentation, and creative decisions shape the customer experience.
WHAT I'VE LEARNED
PRODUCT TEACHES YOU THE CUSTOMER.
BUSINESS TEACHES YOU THE WHY.
EXPERIENCE TEACHES YOU HOW THE PIECES CONNECT.
WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR
I'm interested in conversations and opportunities with thoughtful, curious teams building meaningful consumer businesses — particularly where product, brand and business overlap.
I value environments that are:
Collaborative
Curious
Hands-on
Entrepreneurial
Human
And, ideally, a little fun.
OUTSIDE THE WORK
Outside of work, I'm interested in photography, film, exhibitions, travel, nature, and making things by hand. I enjoy exploring different creative practices, from painting and printmaking to pottery and up-cycling.
I'm also interested in food, wellness, and the ways people interact with the world.
These interests give me a perspective beyond any one industry or function and keep me curious about how people live, what they value, and what catches their attention.
